Come to find out I was sold the wrong booster. Everything was the same as the original booster I had except the booster shaft was about 3 inches too long. Once I got the correct booster in hand, I installed it and everything is working out perfectly right now.

I tried the "wiggle" but its a no go. I know what you mean cause I tried it on the old one as well. I went back to the part store and no several other part stores, no one seems to know how to adjust it. I think my last hope is just to try and get another booster to see if I can match it up...

I have a 1992 Volvo 940 Turbo and I just replaced my brake booster. The problem I'm having is reinstalling the master cylinder. It seems the brake booster shaft is too long to fit in the master cylinder (Did I buy the wrong booster?).
