Battery was weak... started very hard... as if there was resistants some where... engine runs fine trans is shot... time to take it out and rebuild...

I got underneath and moved the flywheel back and forth just 1 tooth with a screwdriver... now starter just clicks. voltage at the starter is 11 and 8 under load is this too low? any help would be appreciated!

I bought a great condition 99 S80 2.9 non turbo 92k last week that was throwing codes for Trans. Solenoid failure and going into limp mode after 30 miles or so. I replaced all 4 shift solenoids according to the writeup on this site. changed trans filter / motor oil / spark plugs. tear down and repla...
