So there's no bevel gear...And thats what the Volvo dealer' mechanic suggested it might be. Oh my... Thanks for confirming that! Is there a way that I can physically check the axle myself to see if its worn? Would there be any other signs that I should look for? Thanks!

Hi All, I'm new here. Can anyone tell me if my volvo (2005 s60 2.5T) has a bevel gear? I thought it was only AWD? Mine is FWD.
