He replaced my catalytic converter and in the process became concerned about what he felt was excessive play in the drive line where it connected to the transfer case. Does anyone know if a little play in the drive line when manipulated by hand is okay? Also ...

This winter we became aware that we were not getting any power to the rear wheels. Last summer we had the rear drive line replaced and I am suspicious that we may have had no power since then.
