Mine has a small cut/crack (about 1/4") in the rubber section just below the ferrule that connects the two rubber sections.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone. Right now it is leaking bad enough to keep me off the road. That video gave me some hope, but I can't imagine trying to do it without being able to actually get your hands in there. I tried a temporary repair, but it failed right away. Need to regroup...

Hi, I've got a leaking high pressure power steering line (rubber section). I read someplace that you have to drop the sub-frame to replace it. I'm really hoping that's not the case. No lift, no garage, etc. 04 V70R M66

Well, I just unplugged mine and tossed it in the garage. So far no message (there was before I took it out), and the sunroof works now. Mysterious.

Well, after plenty of brutality and bad language, I managed to get the universal replaced. I ended up cutting into chunks to finally get the bolt out, then used a small puller to get the rest off of the shaft. I think I'll be sore for a week.

I'm going to check the front axle bolts, the rear driveshaft universal and the subframe mounts. I'm running out of good weather, need to find the issue soon.
