Re: Anyone know anyone at Elevate? Do they still exist?!
Final note; I got an automated email that the order had been shipped on the 27th and just got the delivery today (30th). No replies to the emails I sent, but I do have the downpipe. So now I get to perform the simple install on a 18 year old car. How hard could THAT be?!

Nine days and still not a peep from them. It's weird; I couldn't even cancel the order if I wanted to!

Re: Anyone know anyone at Elevate? Do they still exist?!
Did it show the downpipe was in stock when you ordered it? It didn't show either way. I was expecting a "this item is backordered" message if it was out of stock, but I went through the process of checking out, selecting payment type & shipping method, so it felt like everything was n...

Anyone know anyone at Elevate? Do they still exist?!
Placed an order on their website a week ago for a downpipe, 'cause my factory original bit the dust and I can't drive until I get a replacement (WAY too loud!). Thought it'd be nice to pair together their DP with their catback I already have. Only problem is; I haven't heard a peep from them since I...

Re: DIY: Flaring your Brake Lines
Lol, I'm a transplant, I moved down here three years ago from the Chicago area, so I'm quite familiar with salt & cold - two big reasons I moved!

Re: DIY: Flaring your Brake Lines
As long as the bleeder & pin are in good shape, it shouldn't be a problem reusing them. I've not had to replace a bleeder if it's still got it's rubber cap on, and odds are good you'll need to snad-down and rough spots on the pin to make sure it's smooth.

2006 S60R - Oil Sensor Cleaning DIY
First off: sorry for the horrible pics, they were a bit of an afterthought. Lately I've been getting "oil level low, fill oil' (yellow triangle) and 'low oil level, pull over immediately' (red triangle). Each time, I'd check the level and it was fine. During some drives, the first message would...

Re: Anyone interested in vinyl wrapping info?
My paint looks great still on the body, it is the paint on the plastic strips that run from the bottom of the windshield across the roof to the bottom of the rear glass that is peeling. If I had my car I would snap a picture of the strips I am talking about. I would peel the rest of the clear off e...

Re: Anyone interested in vinyl wrapping info?
My car is Passion Red from the factory and I had just the roof and the B pillars wrapped in black but yes; you can wrap the whole car and yes, pretty much any color you can think of can be found in a wrap. Wrap will look more like a new paint job compared to PlastiDip but will cost more than it and ...
