It was listed as brand new on website and not sold for a discounted price. If a factory second, that wasn't disclosed to me by the retailer...though starting to think that's what they sell. All metal contacts appear shiny inside and out.

You mentioned replacing the fuel injector relay with a used one - are you sure it's in good working condition? I had the same warm start issue with my Volvo for awhile until I finally narrowed it down to the fuel injector relay. You might try swapping a new relay in or try the test in this video ...
