highway test, no top gear





startup after sitting for several weeks



posting to craigslist, ebay, etc for a while (few weeks) then donating for the tax deduction.

the 94 850 wagon is now under classifieds- $500- Don't know what the transmission problem is, a lot of people have looked at it and seem to think it is the tranny. I am done with it.

1994 850 glt wagon, NA, good motor, 140,000 or less, kind of a beater, not too bad, all essential parts working except for transmission, no 4th gear, and brakes now scraping, I am not working on this one any more. Columbus, Oh. I still drive it around town, still runs good and stops, noisily, but no...

actually it reads 3500, not yet in full whine mode.

The tach reads, stop you're killing me, at 65.

So I replaced the battery and now the front brakes are squealing a little, probably from sitting all winter, so $600. You can drive it home if you don't go on the highway...

I spent a couple of years diagnosing this tank, and 3 different mechanics have diagnosed it. All other systems are now clear, new sensors etc... The tranny has been flushed, power flushed, and works great but no 4th gear. Is any one interested in buying a project like this?
