After some more playing around I managed to get it onto defrost. I applied preassure on the knob and then it came on. The Dial is slightly to the left of Defrost at about 11 oclock. I guess the part behind the knob is wearing?

It almost sounds like a Fuel Pump. Mine did the same thing. Run sputter. Shut it off, wait then it was fine. It did this to my wife and then it brought her home only to die in our drive way. Good 855.

Give the Gas tank a good smack and try to start it?

Has anyone had it where the top position on the dial does not work? The defrost? This is on the manual climat control. It was getting harder and harder to switch it to this position and then it went easy. I have a feeling something has come loose. A little air blows out but not much at all. Kind of ...

I will say even thou it is not the fastest wagon it gets great fuel economy with this Canadian market simple engine. I can load it up with cargo and no issues with power loss. I have my Subie AWD SVX 230HP if I need to put my foot down.

I still swear by my Sweedish Gislaved Nord Frost 3's. Then I have Michelin's as my summer tires.

In the winter I go to my Pizza Cutters 185/65/15 Gislaved's instead of the 195/60's and they are great in the snow. With the weight and the ABS so far has proved to be a great winter car up here in Canada.
