So I found the culprit. It indeed was the hose from the block to the heater core. I already performed the heater hose firewall coupling delete so I just used some 5/8 fuel vapor line, real stiff, and used a barbed 3/4 brass fitting I found at the big box hardware store and everything is back running...

The hose behind the turbo coolant hose I am thinking is a heater core hose that runs through the firewall, am I correct? I had a leak that was coming from this location, I assume it was due to a fattened turbo inlet.
