Re: #*%@*#! (expletive) - 1996 850 Turbo
I believe the alarm system (when engaged) will not allow the engine to crank over. If it cranks the alarm system is not the culprit. I would look at the Cam or crank sensor. Coils seldom go bad. I have a 1997 850 T-5 that I replaced cam, crank, coil and I still do not get spark? So I'm in the same s...

If you are successful at figuring this one out let me know - I'm in the same boat as you. Mine cranks too, but no spark. I just replaced or verified that all of the same components are good on my 97 850 and I still don't get spark. To my knowledge the anti theft system can be overridden; the relays ...

1997 850 T-5 197k just rebuilt the top end (blown head gasket). Not getting spark to the plugs. Car cranks fine. Confirmed that the coil is getting power on both sides. Cam position sensor and Vehicle speed sensor both check out with about 200-400 ohms. Computer gives me the p0120 code and the up sh...

Re: Those little green O-rings
Air conditioning o rings match and fit better than the ones that FCP sells. They are a bit thinner and fit in on the transmission cooling lines and oil cooling lines better. Additionally, use a little squirt of silicone to get the line into the radiator but work fast since the silicone dries rapidly.
