Also...I am buying and Airtex fuel pump from Advance Auto Parts....$129. Says it is an exact fit. Bosch is over $300. Looks pretty much the same. Hoping it will work; one reviewer said it worked fine for him.

OK Just tried it out. Still would only turn over. I took the fuel pump cover off in the trunk area and will go buy a new pump. It appears that the cover has never been off, so this fuel pump is at 185,000 miles....probably was time to go anyway.

thank you Lee. I will try the paperclip in a few hours and will report back. Hope it is as simple as a relay. I assume you just bend the paperclip in half and stick it in the sockets marked 15 and 87? I have not done this before.

While driving at about 50mph, my car shut off and I have not been able to start it since. It seems to crank easily. OK PROBLEM SOLVED!! Installed new MAF and it runs like a dream...so much power in "Econ Turbo" mode now and gas mileage indicator is much much more accurate and where it should be. Thanks to jblackburn...a fellow Virginian!!! Starting new thread for a new issue...not engine related...thank...

I am going to unplug it again this morning and try it out. I drove it around last night and it drove fine. It may have been that I used too much cleaner? I'll know in about 20 minutes and will repost...as well as unplug the MAF and test drive it.
