I am also having trouble removing the battery from my 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. I cannot figure out how to remove the plastic clip / clamp that holds the battery in place. I tried pushing it down thinking that would release it but to no avail. Can someone please tell me how I would take the clamp off ...
