So I just got back from the machine shop.. apparently they told me I had to come in as a ploy not to get stuck with a bad head.. I guess the have told ppl tht their head was bad on the phone and the customer never showed to pay inspection fee or pick iPhone the head.. Anyway my head was not cracked ...

Okay lets talk brand names for gasket kit, timing belt, water pump and the cam cover sealant.. Whats the best, what works and what to stay away from.. I see about 3 gasket brands for the kit and I was told to stay away from victor.. I agree but what is most recomended??

Yeah.. Its sounds very bad.. But Im going to have it checked. I have been shopping for a new engine just in case so I have a few lined up with less milage. So I should know the out come in a few days...

Update: here's where I am I have torn everything off the head except the cam covers. I removed all 6 plugs and they all had water in the cylinders. The very disturbing part is that the head was so hot the plastic plug cover began to melt.. with water in all cylinders is it feasible to continue with ...

I'm going to run a compression test, drain oil , check plugs, and pressure test coolant system today. I'm also going to try to remove what I can from the head without bothering the cams.. looking for the cam lock I will need.. its the one that fits between he cam gears correct? Is there another tool...

Once I get the video going you can see me pour water in and see it start leaking there and dripping down on everything.. I did inspect all pipes and they look fine.. I can't believe it either... but tht SOB is leaking between the block and head.. I can put my finger where it leaks and divert the wat...
