A few ago I saw a loose wire hanging underneath and took it to my mechanic and he said the O2 sensor was disconnected and I needed a new one.What would change in the performance if I get a new one as I am driving without one now.

Yep I see it,It is feed into what looks like a rubber toilet type of stopper and i can push on it and the cable moves easily and can be tugged easily.Yes I will check this out and thanks so much Jimmy 57 Hopefully this is all it is.
