I have a 98 V70R which I just installed a remanufactured rack and pinion. I am having a bugger of a time getting the return line fitting from the rack to P/S to thread. I have been reading posts about SMI vs TRW racks and wonder if the fittings may be different. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Just removed my drive shaft from my 98 V70R using this post-- thanks for the info. A tip that I found useful is to have the car in park to loosen or torque the cap screws, then put it into neutral so I could turn the shaft to loosen screws in pairs. This requires the wheels to be off the ground ...
