Thanks Jimmy57 but the hose was in tact with no cracks. Any other ideas?

I'm hoping I can get some help with this problem that is driving me crazy. When my 240 is in Park or Neutral, it responds just fine to the gas pedal. When I shift to Drive however the car starts to sputter and eventually will die. It starts right back up and does the same thing. I am not a mechanic,...
