I bought a used trottle body today... and i heard that you could use it in your car without reprogramming it at the dealer if it still had software. is this true?

i talked to the volvo dealer yesterday and the mechanic there told me that I would need to buy a brand new ETM because there are mutiple sensors in it, including the tps. and he said i could not replace the sensor.

my passenger window regulators arms bend when i roll down/up my window. every time i do it the window pops out of the arms and falls down. can i buy new arms for it or do i have to buy a new regulator?
