hey guys,
I bought a used trottle body today... and i heard that you could use it in your car without reprogramming it at the dealer if it still had software. is this true?

Yes, sort of.
Turbo ETMs will work on Turbo cars, N/A ETMs will work on N/A cars. Swapping between the two types requires programming.

can you share with me how the used ETM is working out? did it resolve the issue? did you in fact have to reprogram it?
Does anyone KNOW? Is the ultimate demise a new ETM? I am committed to finding the solution
I and going down that scenario road right now. I was told NO re-programming will be needed unless it was brand new
