So far so good.... I ran the heater on full blast driving up the hill.I Just went on another 30 min drive and it is still at max. line in resivoir.My temp needle is at 12 0'clock , never past, when it stops. Thanks for your input guys! Rocky mentioned heater! Thanks again, if this works it's better ...

Thanks guys, Right now the coolant is staying at the max mark after a drive up and down the mountain I live on. The sensor light is working correctly. I will see if it remains stable. Also is it normal for the temp gauge to never go above exactly straight up, It goes to far left when coo land never ...

After driving my volvo2001v70xc for 30 minutes the low coolant light comes on- the coolant is at min mark. If i slowly let pressure out of resivvoir the coolant rises back up to max mark. My coolant resivoir starts out at max and after a bit of driving the low coolant /pull over warning comes on. I check and the coolant is right at min in resivoir.... if I release all the pressure carefully the coolant level rises back to max??? Is it high pressure forcing it down?Is it a thermostate...

My 2001 v70 xc shows the low coolant indicator-I check the coolant resivoir(engine hot) and the coolant is right at the low coolant line. If I slowly release pressure in the resivoir , the coolant rises bck to the max line. The temp gauge has never gone over the half way mark. I seem to add mora cup...
