Re: I give up....
I'm Sorry for taking so long to get involved here. I am pkuevor's boyfriend/mechanic. Initially, we both thought that the noise was emanating from the dash, so my first assumption was that it was the blower. But the noise appears solely as a function of vehicle speed, NOT blower speed, vehicle direc...

Re: new user needs help with sudden overheat and no heat

I would say that it is overheating, although my first imputation of what was happening was that it had a bad temp sender because the temp would rapidly rise, then fall to cold, then go to normal, then high again, a...

Re: new user needs help with sudden overheat and no heat
Yeah, I was thinking about what I said yesterday and realized that a blocked radiator wouldn't deny the cabin heat. It will have plenty of coolant--until it gets hot. The system definitely has some sure in it, witnessed by how far the expansion tank's level drops after the engine has cooled down. A ...

new user needs help with sudden overheat and no heat
Hi, My name is Jonathan. My girlfriend and I bought her a 1994 850 turbo from a friend. Things started out well, but the engine overheated and cracked the reservoir cap. No problem, I thought, thinking that the broken cap was the cause rather than a result. I replaced the cap, which had to be replac...
