I still miss my 1990 740GL wagon, only owned it for 14 years, but I like my 2000 XC70 a whole lot better. Much more confortable ride, parts everywhere, OBDII codes, and almost no rust.

Install was relatively easy. Installed the cv on a new fuel filter. Took 1hour to remove the f&@xing rusted retaining bolt. Had to trim the edge of the cv in order for the compression nut to fit. Didn't help the hard start though. Starter died few weeks later. Replaced starter. Car now starts 1s...

When you say to "mount it directly behind the fuel filter ...Butt it right to the back of the filter" what is behind? which side is the back? Do you install the CV on the side of the line from the gas tank to the filter or on the side of the line from the filter to the engine? I don't want...
