It took a few different methods, but I got it off. I had an air impact driver with a universal joint, but it busted the u-joint to I went back to the drawing board. I agree on the MAF sensor- but having the code read would help. Perhaps buying some MAF sensor cleaner would help, I had a Toyota where cleaning the MAF sensor made a world of difference! Good luck.
