Hi all,

I heard a gushing air sound leaking out of this air tube driving into work this morning, the tube is filthy dirty and going to replace it as I think its the problem as everything else was pulled and cleaned out in the past year.

Anyone know the name of this part? Probably obvious, but ...

Not that anyone is reading this thread, but to help those searching for the rough idle, problem in cylinder two at least in my experience was finally resolved. I hired someone to check it out, the camshaft was sliding out from the block pulling the timing belt practically off. Problem #1, Problem #2 ...

Agree with E Showell, I went through most of the list at the top and I have to now hire someone to get the cylinder head removed and valves fixed. Very puzzled what did this so quickly, I have 136K... taking into a smaller local shop this week to see if I can save it. Beyond my abilities.

Turns out after compression test it may be a bad valve in Cylinder 2 - so worse news that I thought. Cylinder 1 165, Cylinder 2 20 psi, 3 = 60 psi, 4 = 170, 5 = 165. It was recommended the cylinder head should be removed and inspected for valve damage or cylinder bore damage.

The car has 136,000 ...

It may be the fuel sensor, I'm taking it to the dealership to run a few tests tomorrow. I'll post a response and I hope its the sensor, that would be a quick fix...
