Re: No fuel to spark

Water potentially would have gotten in the intake ports when I washed it, but I sprayed it out with an air nozzle to help remove what I could. Intake manifold gasket is brand new from the PCV kit. It seems like any moisture has burned off. I did an oil change last night to get any water in the oil o...

No fuel to spark

I just finished the PCV breather replacement on my car and in the process replaced the fuel injector filters and spark plugs (BoschOEM). I went to turn the car over and it was not starting. I could smell gas (quite a bit actually) but still no start. I decided to go back to the plugs I had in (NGK i...

Re: Fuel injector, broken "washer" on manifold end?

I just broke all of mine putting my fuel rail back in. Loosened the manifold to vacuum the pieces out. I assume these all just melt off anyways but would prefer to not have that crap laying around in there. Just bought 2 replacement kits on eBay. Par for the course on all that's happened to me on th...

Re: Help identifying a part.

Will it affect performance at all? I presume the original hoses are at the specific width and length because it was engined as such.

Re: Help identifying a part.

Thank you. Looks like the other hose from the vacuum to the valve will have to be reused even though not in the best shape (just some dry caking on the outside). I could not find a hose anywhere to match the diameter, I think it is 11 or 12 mm. 3/8 was too small and 1/2 was too big.

Re: Help identifying a part.

Can I just use a 3/8" fuel hose for the line attaching to the intake? I picked up a few of those valves at the junkyard. Thank you.

Help identifying a part.

Doing the PCV breather replacement on my 2006 S60R. I took the small hose off of the top of the intake and it broke so I was going to buy some tubing and replace the hose. There is a sensor that has another tube coming out of the other end. It looked in bad shape as well so I was going to replace th...

Re: 1999 S70 RPM Fluctuation and deep vibration.

It seemed to be OK in park or neutral, I will have to check again. I am not getting any engine codes. I won't be near the car until tomorrow or Saturday so I will try cleaning the ETM. One thing I would add is it almost sounds like metal clinking somewhere during the vibration.
