Re: 2020 S60 seat belt/new owner maintenance

My model did not have any recalls. However I did order the seat belt from a parts vendor where they confirmed it must be programmed by the dealer after install.. I may see if I can just clean it first as the part is already $600, I'm sure they'll charge me the standard $185 for diag and then labor.....

2020 S60 seat belt/new owner maintenance

Recently purchased a 2020 S60 T6 AWD with 44k miles. Stunning car and a crazy upgrade from my 07 S60 or even 14 XC90. I've driven a lot of rentals for work but nothing has driven has comfortably. Car has been well maintained and had most regular maintenance records. Even has a fresh set of Pirelli's...

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

It was the evap.. replaced it along with the heater core, evap temp sensor and a few other things along with getting the right foam seals for the dash.

Been driving it for 2 days with no issues. AC gets down to 30F from the vent now.

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

At it again, lol. Got a second diag from another independent shop. Confirmed not only should it be 700g, not 1000g of R134a but that the evap has a clog. My regular mechanic is going to change this out for me, along with the evap temp sensor, heater core, and accompanying air seals. Heater core come...

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

So, bad news.. New compressor was installed. System was charged to 1.54lb (or .7kg/700) as that's what the sticker on my radiator support says to charge it to. Same results, cold at times on passengers side, ambient temp on drivers side. Short cycling and only running for a second or two at a time....

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

I have not read through the whole thread but have you checked the linkage arm that controls the vents? That linkage arm is known to break if one does not move it to "hot" position during heater core job... We've both already used snake cams down the vents multiple times to confirm the doo...

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

that icarsoft scanner looks very nice, the software is more logical then vida. For the price and reliability, it's not bad. But I will say the initial interfaces aren't too user friendly. I've been working in IT for 15 years professionally and still have to stumble my way through it. I've used my m...

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

Here is my data for a 25c day. One shows the ac off at 693kpa One shows ac on at 1500rpm with 1033kpa One shows evap temps sub 10c with 1500rpm and ac on. The first photo I took was when I just turned on the ac. IMG_8379.jpegIMG_8375.jpegIMG_8376.jpegIMG_8377.jpeg I've already got the 3rd replaceme...

Re: 07 S60 AC Help - Hot air/cycling compressor

That is odd... It is reporting close to 130psi (893 kpa) when the car is off which seems to be okay according to some online sources. I believe mine were in the 600-780 kpa range when off but i do not recall the exterior temperature it was at. I cannot check mine now as it is 5C out here in canada....
