Have a 1997 850 t-5 black in color. no body damage. have to park because 4 and 5 cylinder need bored out and pistons. have all other parts from car interior, and exterior.
Except right fender and hood.

So I have decided to tear it apart and begin the inspection process. So have I haven't seen anything wrong in the 4 pot or head. Compression test on that cylinder was 90 and the rest were 160-140. Did notice I had a burnt intake valve in #2 though. It appears as if the previous owner you rebuilt it ...

Well everyone I have finally destroyed my volv. #2 cylinder 90 All others 145-160. Really don't wat to pull the motor but think I will have To. Yes definitely P0422 erikv11.
Will do headed to scrap yard here soon today. Never heard of heat soak but I know the engineers didn't put a shield there for no reason.
Oh and also replacing subframe today will post pics of that adventure :/
