Try making sure your flame trap and oil separator are clear and clog free. If they are clogged it can cause pressure to build up in the crankcase, which can force oil past the seals.

Had this problem in my 940.

UPDATE: I found out how to tell what engine you have on a 940, there should be a sticker betwee the air filter and power steering fluid reservoir on top of the wheel well. On the right side of the sticker it has the egine type.

Mine is a B230F. Green cap on .

How does one go about finding what type of engine they have? I picked up a green cap this morning at a junk yard and I'd like to make sure my 940 doesn't have a B200F before I pop the sucker on.

It did actually. The TPS was fine. I never acutually sprayed in there. I read the write up on how to do it for a 940, and it warned against spraying it on the TPS, so I decided to play it safe and I sprayed TB cleaner on an old microfiber cloth and wiped it out. Also, I've established that it idles high at all times, when brakes are applied its only 700 RPM, but let go and it will slowly go up to 3000 when you let off the brakes.
