Thanks for the help everyone. We re-loaded the ECU ETM update and it solved the rough running issue and got rid of the P1614 and P1610 CEL.

Bumping this back up. The vehicle is now at a Volvo repair shop and the mechanic told me the ETM failed the diagnostic test and needs to be replaced. Before I start arguing with him I was wondering if anyone could give me advice and where to go from here. Same codes, same symptoms.

Thank you for the quick responses. I had the codes pulled and was told that it was ETM related. The timing belt was done about 10k ago. I checked the time and it is in time. I'll look up the VVT reset and give that a shot. Thank you!

I have a 2000 Volvo V70 2.4. As of right now it is throwing DTC's p1610, P1614, and P1651. I have tried THREE different ETM's. The vehicle is idling rough and hesitates badly while driving. I also did a tune up and replaced the camshaft reset valve as it threw a code once before. Any advice?
