Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Finally, after a year of seeing no high beam light on dash, decided to fix it. Last year, on this day, just before we close at work I needed a WOF (warrant of fitness). I had failed for the blue hb indicator dash light. Figured it was a lamp, figured wrong. I caused an airbag fault by hot connecting...

Tow bar/hitch etc..
Would anyone be able to confirm whether or not the tow bar assy from a 2000 V70 would fit a 2003 XC70?
I have a opportunity to buy a donor car super cheap. If the tow bar assy will fit then I can easily make my money back.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Eek! Transmission Service (engine codes P0717 and P0700) Hel
Old thread I know. Thought it might be helpful to share my experience. first I had the transmission fault come up and car went into limp just as I pulled in the driveway. I have a Stahlcar BT adapter so pulled the codes immediately... P0717, P0700. Did a web look up and such, logged fault and cleare...

Re: Boot liners
I guess we'll see. I have made some inquiries. Ski season is nearly upon us and I really want to keep the mud and snow off the carpets. The parking at our local ski area is pretty agricultural, unsealed often with a very fine clay-esk mud, almost like paint. Stuff gets everywhere if you let it. Afte...

Re: Boot liners
Bed liner would be an option, however, they aren't really a thing down here in New Zealand like they are up your end of the Pacific. Might be worth looking into though. I have asked for dimensions. That should answer the question quite definitively.

Boot liners
Anyone know whether this 2007-2016 bootliner fits in the earlier 2003 XC70. It kinda looks the same to me, but I don't know. Plus it's pretty pricey. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=1607086412&member_hash=4e176f331784901f4bcee03ff41fe7b85ae71270c264d0cdac&tm=email&et=46&mt=130AA0...

Re: Volvo fuel door issues wont latch rant
Buy a small rare earth magnet and apply it to the inside of the fuel door so it will be opposite the head of the upper left screw when the fuel door is closed (see pic). This works like a charm (I have not had my door flapping in the breeze since I did this) and has minimal cost. This is exactly wh...

Highly recommend one of these http://www.stahlcar.nz/diagnostic-tools ... oothswitch
You leave them in without battery drain. Torque pro seems to work well with it.
