Set of Comets with nearly new Nitto rubber-Denver,CO-$700

Hello, Up for sale are the Comets from my old S70. There a couple dings here and there, but overall they are very clean and look super sharp in person. I give them an 7 out of 10 as a set. They come with Nitto Motivo tires with around 5k on them. These tires are a kick ass three season tire. These wh...

Re: 2005 V50T5 No power. Solved.

Today I replaced the air filter which was filthy and cleaned the good old MAF. Between the two something went right because the car is running great now. I will never underestimate how much a dirty air filter can affect performance (to the point of disabling a car) again. It was a rookie mistake not...

2005 V50T5 No power. Pinched wire? Heat?

Hi guys, So I decided to change out the spark plugs and ignition coils on my car as I doubt they had been done in the 100k before the car got to me. I did them one at a time as to make sure ignition sequence was correct. After double checking my work everything looked fine, but only a few blocks int...

Re: 05 V50t5 Coolant loss but did not overheat?

Well, I dodged that bullet thank goodness. Car is fine, radiator hose was not. I am still puzzled as to why the car stayed stable even with little to no coolant in the system. But I guess that mystery will wait to be solved on another day. On a different note-holy crap are these cars hard to work on...

05 V50t5 Coolant loss but did not overheat?

Hello all, Driving home on Friday I noticed that even after the car was warmed up I was getting no heat. Once near my place i noticed steam coming from under my hood. I pulled over and popped the hood-coolant was everywhere. I added what I had with me in the car and got back to my place. Today I pic...

Re: Volvo & Le Mans. We can dream right?

Agreed on all fronts Lee. I would love to watch the jaws drop if Volvo actually did dip a toe in the LMP1 waters but honestly it makes sense to me. I think they could really do it, especially with gobs of money Geely seems to be allowing Volvo for development. I assume Chinese people like to go fast...

Re: Volvo & Le Mans. We can dream right?

I really got into F1 after watching several races in succession. Much like NASCAR, after I understood the rules and the personalities it became much more entertaining. It has been interesting watching the cars change to suit the anticipated direction that real world cars will take. This year's cars ...

Volvo & Le Mans. We can dream right?

With Volvo's new leaps in engineering and engine efficiency it would be a Volvo fan's dream to see them race at 24hrs. Well, here is a rendering of what their car might look like! Also, if you like F1, WTF1 is a great site that takes the racing seriously, but also stops to poke fun at the greatest s...
