I think I can pull the head with the manifolds on and the turbos. I havent worked on it much but you're right I have to disconnect all the oil and coolant lines that run to the turbos.
I'm not sure if this is the best way but I think it will work.

There is a tool to remove the nut but I'm not sure it would help. I tried to remove the pulley also to no avail. I used a 3' cheater bar and all it did was bend the bolts that I used to hold it in place.
I even applied some heat and that didint work.

04 Volvo XC90 Head gasket removal
Hi, Im having a hard time removing the head on my 04 XC90 T6 2.9l engine to replace the head gasket. I can seem to get access to remove the exhaust manifold nuts/stud. How does the head come off? can I remove it with the turbos attached to the manifolds/the head, since I cant get to the exhaust mani...
