about a month ago our 2001 S60 started surging at idle, given it has 140k miles it looked like it was likely the ETM. It did not throw any codes.

Looking at the ETM it still had a white sticker, it seemed pretty obvious. So i purchased a sacer TPS and installed it... no better, in fact it seemed ...

found some instructions on how to test the bosch MAF sensor, mine is the denso unit but it seemed similar.

Test numbers were totally different then what was expected for the bosch device (not sure what the denso should be)

Went to an autoparts store and picked up a new Denso MAF sensor installed ...

my car has started hunting RPM's at idle and acts like it wants to stall. ONLY while warming up though. runs fine when first started (completely cold) and fine when fully warm it only acts up when it's in between cold and warm.
