I forgot to add I did call ipd and they said that they only have a one year warranty and they couldn't do anything, and didn't know of any recalls or bad batches or anything else. I also called a volvo dealer and they didn't know anything about hoses failing either unfortunately.

For the last few weeks i've been losing coolant, and today I finally found the source of the leak the thermostat end of the upper radiator hose was spraying steam out the hose sidewall reinforcement webbing, even after tightening then replacing the hose clamp both clamps being norma aba hose clamps....
