Re: 2002 C70 Car is completely dead, What are my options?
Talked with the Mechanic who did the work last night. He told me that the ECU is the original one to the car. Assuming this is true, where can I go from here? I remember vaguely that when we purchased the car, the Cam. Position Sensor was giving fault codes. After taking a look, the wiring had been ...

Re: 2002 C70 Car is completely dead, What are my options?
Just got done checking the spark plugs.... No spark. Now I'm not sure what to check next. What about the Cam Position Sensor? What is the correct way to test the sensor?

Re: 2002 C70 Car is completely dead, What are my options?
After doing some research and looking over the car again, I've come back with more information/more questions. #1- There is fuel getting to the fuel rail (checked the fitting and fuel shot out). #2- Haven't checked the spark, but will report back tonight once the car is brought back from storage (on...

Re: 2002 C70 Car is completely dead, What are my options?
Well, after finally running my V70 until it will run no more, I'm back to try and fix the C70. I've had the car in storage since last year, so I'm picking up right where I left off and can hopefully breathe life back into this beaut'. After examining the car to refresh myself, - The car does turn ov...

2002 C70 Car is completely dead, What are my options?
I purchased the car in late December with a recent engine swap (41k on the engine), drove it home (150+ miles) and while it did stall out on me 2x (ran the engine codes prior to driving and it had a mass air flow sensor error and a camshaft position sensor error so I assumed these were the reason) t...

1998 V70 UTE
Over the past few days on the internet I've come across UTE's and UTE conversions which seem to be highly popular in New Zealand. It had me wondering if anyone had first hand experience in converting a V70 into one?

Re: 2002 C70 Top not functioning
Great news! After manually retracting the top a little bit, the top comes alive! The only issue is with the rear convertible trunk top lid (the piece that covers the top when retracted). When putting the top up, the aforementioned piece will come down but then the process completely stops, leaving t...

2002 C70 Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement
Can anyone direct me to the location of the Camshaft Position Sensor on a 2.3L C70 engine?

Re: 2002 C70 Top not functioning
Near Bedford, PA. I currently own a generic Bluetooth OBDII code reader (~$20 on ebay) that I use with Torque on my phone.
