So there is a large crack on the fitting to the firewall on the heater hoses for the heater core. I bought a new one from Bap Geon, much cheaper than the dealership. I can see it leaking when I look under the hood. I am not sure about the overheating may be a thermostat issue. Is the reserve tank full of fluid? It should running out everywhere.

So after all the oring/pipe seating drama. Radiator was also leaking, now changed, hands even more cut up! One of the pipes in the engine area leading to the heater core is leaking. Yes because there wasn't any transmission fluid in there! When you remove the radiator, the fluid drains out. I had no clue. Just hoping not major damage done to the tranny.
