Re: 2001 V70 T5 - what is the best obd2 reader for iphone
I run DashCommander and EngineLink from my iPad. Both from the iTunes store and they work with the standard wireless OBD transmitters. I got mine on Amazon I think.

Re: ETM replacement in conjunction with computer upgrade?
Saw an XEMODEX ETM for sale on sweedspeed. However after $125 to that guy, still would have to pay to get the s/w transferred. I think this is still the best route

Re: 2001 S60 T5 - Loss of heat- driver's side
Strange, battery died and didn't want to take a charge. Swapped it with the one in my 325i and now the climate system seems back to normal. Saw a post about disconnecting the battery before unplugging climate unit during radio replacement. I didn't do that. Maybe that messed with something?

H&R vs Elevate vs Eibach
Not getting much input on Sweedspeed. Going with Koni yellows on the '01 S60 T5. Looking for lowered look without too much impact on ride stiffness. Recommendations?

Re: ETM replacement in conjunction with computer upgrade?
I am going to pull my ETM and send it out to ARD. It's $169 for the repair kit and they charge $92 to do the work. Since I'll also be sending a computer and the car will be down without the computer anyway, for $92 I figured that I have someone do it that has done it before vs me futzing around with...

Xemodex DIY for ETM
Anybody have experience with the xemodex DIY kit? Only $169 and no reprogramming, sounds like a great deal. Before I spend the money I was hoping to find some people who have done it.

ETM replacement in conjunction with computer upgrade?
I have an '01 S60 T5 with ~160k and the original ETM. Getting idle surging at lights and I've pulled it and cleaned it but that didn't help. So, since an ETM replacement requires s/w (right?), I was thinking that I would look into a computer upgrade at the same time. Does anyone do this? I have seen...

2001 S60 T5 - Loss of heat- driver's side
So, what I did today was crawl into the footwell and inspect the linkage ( nothing binding ) and so I unplugged and re-plugged the connector to the damper motor. Worked on a short trip. I'll update again in about a week or so.

Re: 2001 S60 T5 - Loss of heat- driver's side
Went to volvo today (2x). First trip, the heat worked perfect. VIDA turned up nothing, damper motors didn't respond to a calibration attempt. Left, drove about a half-hour and went back to cold. Drove back. Still no codes. Cranking heat full on both passenger and driver resulted in temp of 140 on pa...

2001 S60 T5 - Loss of heat- driver's side
Thanks! I'll check at the local shop, the dealership went under but it stayed as a service facility. To read codes, do they have to pay Volvo or just when doing firmware?
Also, my seats are working (in fact that's what is keeping me warm to drive it), I assume yours was out?
