Bypass oil cooler lines

Has anyone confirmed that this block off plate works?

The car is mainly used for highway driving and I remember changing the lines on my S70 was a pita and I’d have to rebuild them or pay the hefty cost for new ones.

Can the existing bolts be used?

Re: Have you bought a brand new P80?

My dad bought it new, it was financed through GE I believe when they were in that business. He gave it to my wife in 2014, still drives perfectly: 97: GLT, she loves how roomy it is. It makes my 3 series feel like a micro car. Eventually I think she will sell it to upgrade to something with more air...

Well done, keep it up. From what I understand the valve stem seals are made by Volvo, not sure about the headgasket but both are long lasting so it was wise to stick with Volvo.

Re: ECC climate control temp sensor measurements made easier

Excellent thread, one important point. You must read All the codes first before clearing the codes, it won’t work Otherwise. Good chance you have lots of lint on your temp sensors They are locked near the grab bars on the ceiling On the 850 not on the dash like the s70 My fan was spinning okay but t...

Re: 1996 850R Code for Right Rear Wheel Sensor

I had this problem 2x. The first time I replaced the sensor and wiring all the Way up to the trunk by removing the wire pins From the yellow harness. The 2nd time I spliced the sensor in by soldering the Wires and heat shrinking them. I used ebay sensors because they are ridiculously expensive and a...

Re: Spark plug

Wow because at 90,000km I removed one and it looked perfect. Gap was good and top wasn’t worn like you see on copper plugs

Spark plug

What is the interval for Volvo OEM plugs on a turbo LPT. I believe they are made by Bosch and the model is FR7DPP, is this correct? That would make them Platnium which I find keep their gap much better than Copper plugs. Thanks
