thanks for the reply. There was a small white plastic tube that goes from the intake man. to the air cleaner. THat one is suspect, but cant find anything major yet. I looked at the air filter and it was ok. I even tried it without the air filter. Checked the diverter to make sure everything was clea...

I need someones help. I have done alot of engine work, but very little on Volvo's, and they seem to be their own animal. Question is, the 2000 v70 non turbo we have runs great except that when you come to a stop, then rpm goes way down to about 500 for a second, then goes right back up to 900 or so....
