Re: 1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
I "repaired" the crack and hole in the bottom of the intercooler and made my own shade tree test caps to pressure test it and found the upper tank leaks along the entire seam and won't hold pressure above about 5#. I am sure my turbo moves enough air to get boost up to 9 but my compressor ...

Re: 1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
I got it out and cleaned up, I think I am going to try to seal the hole in the bottom with JB weld and some washers to get the hole size smaller and then leak check it to make sure the tank seals are good. If it is then I will install silicon hoses and put it all back together to try it all again. T...

Re: 1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
Does anyone know of any special way to attach the mounting brackets back to the intercooler? Mine have come off and if plugging the hole is the only problem and the tanks are still sealed I would like to reinstall this thing.

Re: 1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
I also noticed looking at some new intercooler pictures, my weep hole is cracked and about 1/2" in diameter vice the little 1/8" one in the pictures. I wonder if this is causing low air under boost which in turn causes a rich condition to pull fuel.

Re: 1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
I have a 2.3L T5 the plugs are a chocolate looking light brown, clean and not wet. The front O2 seems to be switching according to my scanner. STFT at idle is 0 but bounces + and -, if I reset fuel trims LTFT will stay at zero until I go for a test drive. I make sure it is in closed loop and at oper...

1998 S70 Negative LTFT and P0171
So, I have been fighting this car for about 6 months trying to get it to clear the codes so I can smog and register it. I have replaced all of the vacuum lines as well as the evap lines above the fuel tank and for the canister purge and vent valves. The problem I am having is the ECM is pulling fuel...

Re: VIDA 2012B VMWare Player Image
I see where people are running this in Parallels but has anyone tried to run it in VMware for MAC? It just came out recently from what I can see. I am going to try it but I have to download everything and unpack it first.
