Helping a friend with an 98 S70... in doing the rear shocks the lower mounting stud snapped off at the shock base. Its a welded part so its likely I will need to change the whole arm. I have cleared the P0130, P0131, and the P0172 codes but they keep coming back! I have put on a newer distributor cap and rotor, tested one MAF sensor that seemed to pass muster, and found one exhaust leak that I patched with JB weld! Easiest way is to find somebody locally with a VIDA/DICE clone. Its a very fast reset with one of them. Probably your best bet for that is to join one of the many Volvo Facebook groups and see if you can get a local to help. Most of the Volvo community is very accommodating.
