Rear suspension arm interchange question

Helping a friend with an 98 S70... in doing the rear shocks the lower mounting stud snapped off at the shock base. Its a welded part so its likely I will need to change the whole arm. My question is, will the arm from a C70 2004 work on this car? Volvo calls out two different part numbers 9169158 S7...

headlight retrofit

Looking for info on the feasibility of retrofitting early P2 halogen headlight assemblies into a 05+ car. I will be doing this to an 06xc70 that has rather foggy plastic lenses. I have read that EuroSport Tuning makes an adapter cable but cannot confirm based off of what I see on their website. Any ...

Re: 1998 V70 Timing belt, cylinder head work 330k miles!

I have cleared the P0130, P0131, and the P0172 codes but they keep coming back! I have put on a newer distributor cap and rotor, tested one MAF sensor that seemed to pass muster, and found one exhaust leak that I patched with JB weld! I did replace the vacuum hose from the air pump to the EGR valve...

Any updates on your P0130 code? I have one bugging me too and cannot seem to get real good info other than "clear it and see what happens"!

Code P0171 Too lean 04 S60

My 04 S60 NA has been tossing the P0171 code lately. I have read here but my symptoms do not match. The car doesn't stall, starts, runs, drives and idles fine. It also passes the glove test. Car has approx 153k miles on it. I do not know when PCV was last serviced but I sincerely doubt very long bef...

Re: Resetting SRS Airbag light after DIM repair and question about dealing with dealership

Easiest way is to find somebody locally with a VIDA/DICE clone. Its a very fast reset with one of them. Probably your best bet for that is to join one of the many Volvo Facebook groups and see if you can get a local to help. Most of the Volvo community is very accommodating.
