Thanks Abscate. I wondered whether visual was sufficient so i stuck a toothpick in valve body and it didn’t bite it. So, i guess i have an electrical issue somewhere related. I’ll keep looking for schematic.

I tried looking for voltage on solenoid connector.
0V with ignition on and not running.
Tried measuring between each pin and ground, still 0V.

I read on different forum that duty cycle should be 50% at idle.
Connected voltmeter to connector at idle, nothing.

This seems to conflict with replacing valve.
