Re: P2 plastic lens replacement.

I did the replacement plastic lens cover on the XC70. It's a pretty involved work but worth it! Bought the lenses from VParts in Sweden. You'll have to use a dremel to cut off the lens and a heat gun to remove the remaining parts. That was about one two hours per lights! https://images2.imgbox.com/5...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Finally had the XC70 back from the shop last week with it's new heater core... and an empty wallet now! Not had the time to drive the car until this week, it's warm and cosy inside and everything feel tight. It took them ages to fix it. The good, i could see some new parts free of charge, pipes for ...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Oh well, i went to the garage this morning and they started to remove the dashboard to get the heater core out and inspecting the hoses connections. Passenger seat and Carpet out to dry. The Volvo tech tried to find an alternate way to remove the heater core but looks like no other ways to do it......

Re: no heat - winter is coming.

If it's only the blend doors arms, hope you will resolve this. Anyway it's time to chase HC or any coolant leaks at that mileage. This is the second car that have a failed heater core. Very frustrating after the radiator, coolant tank, hoses replacement on the XC70 six months ago, so it took me by s...

Re: no heat - winter is coming.

Do the heater core while you can!
Mine blew up two days ago without warning and left me stranded far from my space & tools.
No choice to send the car to a Volvo shop. Looks like it is a hard work ahead said the Volvo tech...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

... :? My car has decided to blow the heater core yesterday morning in town, what suddenly left me with a nice pool of coolant on the passenger side. Hopefully i could park right away. Far from my space and tools , off the car to a Volvo garage and expecting a hefty bill coming. Oh well, i went to t...

Re: Lights throwing bulb failure warning - 06 V70 2.5T

For the rear spoiler you'll have to delete the tailgate light and use a masking black sticker.
You will have to use the tailgate light connector. Should be plug & play if all the leds are working.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

They make some nice stuff. I will need to contact then to see if the under trays will fit a 06 V70 2.5T AWD as well. I would also think stuff like the neat back up camera and mount would fit a V70 P2 as well. Thanks for adding the link! Issue might be cost of shipping to Canada! Neil. I must say th...
