It was not coolant.

I found what appears to be some pag oil or equivalent near the back of the A/C Compressor, what really has me curious is that the condensor fan does not come on when the A/C is turned on.

Also the compressor does not try to come on.

The Air Conditioning was working properly, then my wife was idling with the A/C on and heard a pop and a hiss. There was a cloud of what appeared to be steam from under the hood.
