Fuse 28 is for compressor and blower motor in a/c and heater system. Is that the fuse that is blowing? They are calling 8/3 the compressor solenoid. It is a mistake as that is the compressor clutch. Probably a translation error as I guess a magnetic winding that moves an armature is a solenoid and ...

Add Front drivers wheel bearing to this mix. Car at mechanic today.

Buy the wagon and have fun. You will look alot cooler and be more comfortable driving the 745 turbo than in an 81 Rabbit. One day they may open an IKEA in Boise and you will be set.

My 2c. If you really want all 3 ; RWD, Turbo & Stick then with a good service history of records etc this could be a good project .....No service history then you are taking chances . ( ya know) If you can do with the RWD & Turbo and drive an Automatic then you may want to keep pokin' around...
