Yes. I did mine a couple of years back.
I guess you have the simple H7 bulbs-- Get yourself a pair of H7 sockets (online for $2-3) and solder them in. Easy peasy.

Re: 2001 V70 Intermittent Stumbling at Hwy Speeds - ETM?

What about checking for a tear in the bellows after the maf sensor?
that would mess the air fuel trim on acceleration because there is air going in without the computer logging it

Have heard that from someone but cannot remember who...

Will go hide under the table now.

Re: 2004 S60 B5244S6 uniformly low cylinder compression

I use 5w30, which is what the engine requires. I understand that the heavier oil may be consumed less, but I am not clear on whether this is a good thing or not. A penny for your thoughts. Here's a summary of mine: Oil consumption is a manifestation of an underlying problem. Fixing oil consumption b...

Re: 2004 S60 Vibration Issue with Passengers in car

hello tonyx, I do not mean to hijack this thread EXIT3 started. I was just mentioning my case. To close the loop, I have recently aligned (1000 miles, 1 month, ago), have new control arm bushings, new struts and strut mounts, new tires, and the hub diameter of my wheel is the correct one (with refer...

Re: 2007 S60 Timing Belt-Age vs Miles

I believe the manual says 120K/10 years for the timing belt. I would personally go with that, and would change the water pump and tensioner and idler at that time. If the pulleys fail, the belt will break, and the engine will sustain damage. You should factor in the total costs of your choices. chan...

Re: 2004 S60 B5244S6 uniformly low cylinder compression

Thanks to all. To summarize, the PCV job has to be done irrespective of the compression results. I ordered the kit from FCP and I will do it this weekend. I will try to document the whole thing for posterity. I may have to drop the oil pan for thorough cleaning, so I will budget time. The compressio...

Re: 2004 S60 B5244S6 uniformly low cylinder compression

Thanks to both, really oragex, I understand the point about urgency -- I will do the PCV in the next 3-4 weekends. I will remember to take photos/videos. Jimmy57, indeed I did the test with full throttle and the engine in normal operating temperature. FWIW, whether with full throttle or not depresse...

2004 S60 B5244S6 uniformly low cylinder compression

Hello all, I would really appreciate your thoughts on how I should proceed with my car. Any pointers, thoughts and suggestions in general are most welcome... I have a NA 2004 FWD S60 (B5244S6) with 145K [miles] on the factory engine. Symptoms: The car has been consuming some oil (~1 quart [1 liter] ...
