My S70 has a trunk release button next to the gas door button on the driver side door panel.

Thanks for pointing me to Erie VoVo, looks like a solid place to get used parts, especially for this PZEV engine.

Owned this car for 48 hours and it has the following issues:
-Cracked exhaust manifold (this is the PZEV version of the engine and the manifold is discontinued and not available anywhere)
-Both inner CV boots are torn and grease is slung everywhere, vibration when accelerating above ~50mph
-2-3 oil ...

... well no news is good news right? Just bought it, worth a shot.

Now time to sell the S70.

Update... I rebuilt the FR caliper and replaced the FL caliper with a reman ATE unit from Autozone. The FL caliper dust boot was dislodged, so the piston and totally rusted, meaning it would not be reusable with the new pads, it would leak around the piston seal. I did the power bleed method again ...

I've use a coat hanger and compressed air to clean these. I have to clean then anually it seems.

I am doing a brake overhaul on my 1998 S70 with 205k miles. As far as I know the calipers have never been rebuilt, so I am replacing caliper seals, dust boots, rotors, pads, and flushing/bleeding the system.

Pads = Akebono Euro Ceramic
Rotors = Zimmerman
Fluid = Pentosin Super DOT 4
Seals = ATE ...
