Anyone know of a good place to get door weatherstripping for a 92 740? Google is not coming up with much. Has anyone had any luck using "Universal" weatherstripping?

Yea it was a new one for me. My alternator died yesterday without the warning light coming on. So i started digging around and I found out with help from this thread and another post online that said to ground out the alternator exciter wire and see if the lights came on and they did.

It was a bad alternator. Thanks for your help

Small wire is conected to a spade conection on the alternator. Underneath the battery post on the altenator is a smaller insulated post with nothing hooked up to it. Is ther supossed to be anything coneccted to this terminal?

Can anyone tell me why all the warning lights on the dash don't come on when i turn on the car? The oil light and seat belt light come on and the one on the far left side (don't remember which one) work but none of the others do.
