headlights are working and it was the CEM! got a used one and headlights worked immediately..thank u for your response!

i just replaced the map sensor with a used one from ebay but maybe it was no good :/ thank u for the suggestions!

I am only trying to pass a smog test so I can renew registration (which this has already added up since I can't pay it till I get these problems fixed) so I had the map sensor and boost sensors replaced, changed oil, cleaned the throttle body and replaced the thermostat...which took care of all the ...

2002 s40 low beam headlights won't work

i'm trying figure out why the headlights will just go out and then start working again a couple days later. It's not the fuses or bulb problems, I just replaced the OEM thinking it was that but they just went out again..anybody have any idea what I should try next? please help!
