it certainly seems like volvo never intended the diy mechanic to have much joy working on their cars . ive owned 2 before . a 740 which was supurb and very simple to work on and an 850 which again was so simple . any upgrades were simply plug and play and the electrics were so so less complicated . ...

Volvo want the earth for a new unit and having tried three units from breakers yards and found them all to be in the same corroded state as mine I was wondering if anyone had tried installing an aftermarket siren as these cost peanuts compared to the proper Volvo siren .
